Los premios Globo de Oro son galardones de cine y de televisión otorgados por la prensa extranjera acreditada en Hollywood. Creados en 1944, estos premios fueron considerados los más importantes en el mundo del cine y de la televisión, después de los Oscar y de los Emmy, respectivamente.
Los Globos de Oro se entregaban originalmente sólo a las películas de cine. A partir de 1956 se añadieron las categorías de estos premios para las series y películas de televisión.
La gala de esta nueva edición de los Globos de Oro será el 11 de enero en el hotel Beverly Hilton, de Los Ángeles.
